Numerous police departments worked together to identify and track a Youtuber who is known to post videos online of his motorcycle rides. In his videos, the Youtuber often incriminates himself as he displays his illegal driving habits and brags about his extremely high speeds. In a recent video, the Youtuber, who uses the name Gixxer Brah, drove his motorcycle from Colorado Springs to Denver in about 20 minutes. The 71-mile trip takes an average driver just over an hour.
In his video, he continuously bragged about the dangerous high speeds he traveled at.
Th Colorado State Patrol worked with the Dallas Police Department as well as the El Paso County District Attorney’s Office to find the actual identity of Gixxer Brah. The Youtuber is 32-year-old Rendon Dietzmann, a resident of Texas.
In his videos, Dietzmann detailed his travel between the two cities. He showed himself driving along Interstate 25. Dietzmann specifically started in the Garden of the Gods Road in Colorado Springs and traveled into the Denver metropolitan area. He traveled as fast as 150 miles per hour at some points along his journey, going so fast that other drivers even called the police whilst he was driving. He was seen weaving in and out of traffic, even testing the size of different passageways between vehicles. If needed for his high speed, he even drove along the shoulder. All of this was seen and reported by other occupants on the road at the time, as well as in his own self-posted YouTube video.
The Colorado State Patrol called his video and driving a “complete disregard for safety.”
Dietzmann video of this ride is no longer publicly available on his channel; however, he has countless others showing similar motorcycle rides. He is known for traveling around the country and driving recklessly and dangerously, which is why multiple departments were involved in finding Dietzmann’s real identity and issuing a warrant for his arrest.
The warrant that is issued stands for seven different charges that will be brought against Dietzmann. The charges include, but are not limited to, engaging in a speed contest, reckless endangerment, and reckless driving. To top it all off, his motorcycle also lacked the necessary license plates, adding another charge to his case.
