DENVER, Col. – On Saturday, a teenager fatally shot in a McDonald’s parking lot in west Denver has been identified.
According to the Denver coroner’s office, Steve Soledad-Lopez, 17, was taken from the shooting scene, in the 2800 block of West Alameda Avenue, to Denver Health medical center, where he was pronounced dead.
The coroner’s office said it was notified of the death at about 12:15 a.m. Saturday. Police first notified the public of the shooting in a tweet just before 3 a.m. Saturday.
Denver Police Department continues the investigation. Police have not released information on a suspect in the case.
