Denver made its way to the annual top-10 list of the nation’s destinations for summer travel by AAA.
Denver has joined cities like Los Angeles, New York and Orlando on the list of top travel destinations starting at number 10 after being absent from the list last year.
AAA chooses the top cities for travel based on domestic travel bookings made through the auto club for a period through June 1 to August 15.
The best city this time is Orlando, Florida, that always ranks close to the top. Another newcomer to the list is Seattle, Washington, that went straight to number 2.
The results demonstrate that Americans are looking forward to explore various cities with all their diversity from coast to coast. A recent survey has also shown that about 56% of Americans are making plans to go on a road trip, thanks to the low gas prices – actually, the lowest they have been in summer in 11 years.
